BIPOC Fellowship
SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY
The goal of the BIPOC Fellowship is to diversify and strengthen the environmental non-profit sector in Canada. As such, it is available to senior managers who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour and wish to be better supported and increase their leadership role in the environmental non-profit sector. The fellow will receive networking opportunities and funds to support them in pursuing additional training. Fellows have used the BIPOC Fellowship to attend workshops, cultural training, and events to support them in their roles.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* We understand that this requirement can reduce the accessibility of this fellowship. We are also open to individuals who work at a significant leadership capacity and whose work clearly connects to the environment/sustainability. Please express this in your Cover Letter.
COMPENSATION
The organizations of the selected fellows will be awarded $10,000/year for a period of 2 years.
